The main scientific contributions are in the application of power electronics both in the renewable energy sector and in sustainable mobility, in addition to some theoretical contributions of significant interest relating to the application of the “Averaged Method”, a method widely used in the field of Power Electronics for the analysis of electrical power converters.

In 2020, he was among the million most cited scientists internationally. (Data based on the Scopus snapshot of May 6, 2020, and updated to the year of citation 2019.
